The C.E.O. of APC s.a. Mr. Nikos Anagnopoulos had meetings in U.A.E. (Abu Dhabi and Dubai) with governmental bodies, in order to establish a close collaboration on aquaculture and fisheries issues.
APC s.a. is member of a consortium with ANAF (local consulting company) and AKVA (leading Norwegian company on aquaculture equipment and recirculated systems).
APC s.a. signed a contract with SELONDA GROUP, a leading aquaculture company, in order to apply the GLOBAL G.A.P. quality system in certain farms (marine species). This system follows the Integrated Quality System of the Group, which includes HACCP, ISO 22000, ISO 14000, ISO 18001 and Social Responsibility established 3 years before, with the technical assistance of APC s.a

The President of APC s.a. Mr. N. ANAGNOPOULOS was invited as expert in the workshop “Sustainable Aquaculture Development in the context of Water Framework Directive and Marine Strategy Framework Directive”, which was held in Brussels (29.09.2014) and organized by E.C. and Cefas.
APC s.a. was invited and Mr. N. Anagnopoulos was a speaker during the workshop "European Sustainable Aquaculture Project - Good Practice" organized by the Greek Ministry of Environment, Energy & Climate Change and Cefas (U.K.) in Athens, 5 - 6 May 2014.

Implementation of the MSFD and WFD in relation to aquaculture
APC s.a. undertook the preparation of the dossier for the establishment of Zones for Organized Development of Aquaculture activities (Z.O.D.A.) in marine areas of Thersprotia Prefecture, according to the Greek Special framework for aquaculture spatial planning. The project was assigned by the company “MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY OF THESRPOTIAN Z.O.D.A. s.a.”
APC s.a. published the 2014 edition of THE AQUACULTURE UNITS MAP OF GREECE, showing the current status and the spatial planning of the sector. APC s.a. is a consulting company engaged to the provision of services on development, spatial planning and environmental issues, as well as on the preparation of investment studies and designing, managing and evaluating national and EU Programs.
APC s.a. has particular expertise in the fields of fisheries, aquaculture, rural areas and rural development in general.

APC s.a. undertook the coordination of the project “Monitoring and assessment of the conservation status of Community interest fish fauna species in Greece”, which was assigned by the Greek Ministry of Environment, Energy and Climate Change.
Scientific responsible for the implementation of the project are researchers of Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR), Fisheries Research Institute, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and University of Ioannina.
The C.E.O. of APC s.a. was a speaker during the Workshop 2 on Maritime Spatial Planning – Fisheries and Aquaculture organized by E.U./DG Maritime Affairs and Fisheries in Vilnius – Lithuania in 15 November.
