European Commision announced the approval of the new Greek Operational Programme “Fisheries and Maritime 2014-2020”. This investment package of 523,4m euro (388.7 EMFF contribution) provides the main pillars of support to be :
- Promoting innovative and sustainable fisheries : 186.2 million
- Promoting innovative and sustainable aquaculture : 89.8 million
- Fostering the Implementation of the Common Fisheries Policy : 92.1 million
- Increasing employment and territorial cohesion : 54.1 million
- Fostering marketing and processing : 78.3 million
- Implementing the Integrated Maritime Policy : 5.9 million
- Technical assistance : 17 million
